  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans.
  • Adapt classroom environments and activities to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, and adjust therapy techniques as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong knowledge of sensory processing, motor development, and functional skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
