In-House Privacy Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced privacy and information security attorney to join our Corporate Law Department's Privacy and Information Security Unit (PISU). As a key member of our team, you will provide legal advice on enterprise programs related to privacy, information security, risk, and compliance.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in privacy and information security laws and regulations, as well as experience working in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for advising on federal and state privacy and information security requirements, enterprise risk management, and the compliance and ethics program.
Responsibilities- Provide legal advice on privacy and information security requirements, risk management, and compliance
- Collaborate with business leaders and other legal professionals to develop and implement enterprise programs
- Stay up-to-date on changes in law, technology, and business objectives to ensure effective advice and guidance
- Work closely with the PISU team to achieve business objectives and goals
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one state and membership in good standing of the bar
- 5+ years of experience in privacy and/or information security laws and regulations
- Familiarity with risk and/or compliance programs
- Demonstrated adaptability, learning agility, and ability to excel in a collaborative environment
Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring significant time in the office and virtually. Work arrangements may change over time based on business needs.
