Senior Computational Biologist and Team Lead for Cell Therapy Development

We are seeking a seasoned computational biologist to lead our team in developing innovative cell therapies for serious human diseases. As Senior Computational Biologist and Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving forward biological discoveries and overseeing genomic data analysis to inform next-generation cell therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Set strategy and oversee execution of genomic and transcriptomic analyses to enable our next-generation cell therapies.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Impact: Identify strategic opportunities and propose plans, tactics, and investments for maximum impact of the team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with Research, Preclinical, and CMC teams.
- Talent Development and Management: Provide strong leadership and a focus on continuous talent development to attract and retain top talent in a highly competitive environment.
- Team Alignment and Goal Setting: Ensure goal setting of team members is effectively linked to corporate and department goals, and construct draft budgets and manage execution of approved budgets.
- Education and Experience: PhD degree (or Master's degree) in computational biology, human genetics, genomics, systems biology, or a related field with 5-8 years of work experience and 2 years of management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading and developing high-performance teams, with advanced understanding in the fields of genomics, statistics, and computational biology.
- Communication and Collaboration: Superior communication skills, demonstrating confidence and versatility in presenting verbally to diverse audiences and writing technical documents, as well as ability to work across cross-functional teams.

This role is hybrid-eligible, offering flexibility in work arrangements, and comes with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
