We are expanding our team and are in search of a Systems Administrator to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

This vital role ensures the reliability and security of our systems, safeguarding assets and data against potential threats. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily management of all network systems, whether owned, leased, or shared.
  • Maintaining compliance with industry standards to ensure data privacy.
  • Advising on future operational budget needs and reserve funding for hardware and software enhancements.
  • Conducting security audits to identify vulnerabilities and assess site traffic.
  • Overseeing vendor agreements related to domain and website management.
  • Regulating access rights for web designers and coordinating with them as necessary.
  • Monitoring email and web traffic, addressing potential restrictions, and optimizing search engine visibility.
  • Keeping an accurate inventory of all technology assets.

Essential Functions:

  • Configuration and management of WAN/LAN networks, including cloud-based and wireless systems.
  • Administration of video management and digital recording systems.
  • Programming and maintaining IP camera systems.
  • Managing server infrastructure through VMWare.
  • Overseeing a growing Storage Area Network (SAN).
  • Administering SMTP and SNTP servers.
  • Managing Poly Conferencing hardware and software.
  • Overseeing Mitel IP phone systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with specialized software such as ABDI Community Management Systems, Officer Pulse, and Milestone VMS.
  • Familiarity with Homeowners Associations and Board of Directors is advantageous.
  • Background in physical security is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in both office settings and outdoor environments for inspections and maintenance.
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours when necessary.
  • Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies.
  • Capability to work from heights and safely lift heavy equipment.
