We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a department, including staff training, development, and performance review, as well as ensuring the timely delivery of services and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor all projects in progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to client requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and manage employee staffing plans, recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Prepare and execute annual business plans for the department, including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing, and collections.
  • Oversee and manage key department metrics, including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing, and collections.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project-related risk management and quality monitoring.
  • Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure compliance with safety rules and guidelines.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to promote business development and growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering, environmental science, or geology, and 5 years of practice experience.
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
  • Preferred certification or licensure in the field of expertise.
