We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Terracon. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and monitor all projects in progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to client requirements and company policies.
- Develop and manage employee staffing plans, recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Prepare and execute annual business plans for the department, including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing, and collections.
- Oversee and manage key department metrics, including revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing, and collections.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve project-related risk management and quality monitoring.
- Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure compliance with safety rules and guidelines.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to promote business development and growth opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering, environmental science, or geology, and 5 years of practice experience.
- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
- Preferred certification or licensure in the field of expertise.
