Facilities Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, supervise a team of custodial and groundskeeping staff, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of custodial and groundskeeping staff to ensure the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
- Maintain and repair buildings, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and other systems and equipment.
- Assist skilled craft workers in completing assigned tasks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of facilities and services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two or more years of experience in janitorial work, painting, machinery repair, or one or more of the building trades required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Considerable knowledge of all facets of building maintenance and repair, including safety procedures and hazardous materials handling.
- Effective leadership skills to guide, motivate, and develop staff.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
