Overview:

The Swift Group is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of control systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Developer to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Developer to assist in developing requirements and providing direction on control system design concepts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, implementation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing requirements and providing direction on control system design concepts
  • Review feasibility and realism of systems and provide assessments
  • Provide technical coordination and communication between project teams and leadership
  • Work with a team to assist in evaluating conditions, proposing modifications and developing design changes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor of Science in process/controls, electrical, mechanical, nuclear, chemical, or computer engineering
  • Experience with mid to large scale control system implementations or equivalent train system simulators for the chemical, power generation, wastewater treatment, facility mechanical operations, or similar industries

Skills:

  • Design and implementation of systems using programmable logic controllers, microprocessors, SCADA and DCS systems
  • Modeling of physical mechanical, electrical, fluid, or chemical systems. Experience in control system theory
  • Proficient in communication, organizational skills, and technical writing

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $99,996 - $490,004 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Laurel, MD.
