We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Smithfield Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of predictive and preventative maintenance activities and repair duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, electrical controls, electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other equipment.
- Resolve equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment repair.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
