About the Job:
This salaried position is responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assist physicians and nurses with various procedures and tasks
* Manage patient flow and coordinate appointments
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
* Completed accepted course in medical assisting
* Minimum one-year work experience in public contact job, preferably service-related
* Experience or interest in healthcare
