Senior Scrum Master

Apex Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our team. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our development teams in implementing SAFe Agile Framework and ensuring successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and scale multiple Agile teams in SAFe
  • Organize backlog and user stories in Azure DevOps, groom team in Agile, remove enterprise blockers, improve communication, visibility, and trackability
  • Accountable for understanding and coordinating all technology deliverable activity for assigned project
  • Participate as core team member, ensuring overall successful delivery for the project
  • Monitor and report progress against the plan
  • Evaluate changes in scope and communicate impacts to the development plan
  • Identify, understand, and document risks, issues, and dependencies that impact the technology delivery of the plan
  • Ensure peer review and cross-functional review of development items are complete
  • Manage project resource needs and coordinate estimates at each gate for the development deliverables and schedule
  • Break down work and identify workstreams and help to ensure all parts and pieces of the project fit together
  • Ensure bi-directional traceability
  • Ensure standards and best practices are followed; architectural approach and support change management
  • Promote collaboration among all team members
  • Work together to achieve a common goal
  • Escalate and coordinate resolution of risks, issues, dependencies if unable to resolve within core team
  • Attend and participate in all Core Team meetings
  • Facilitate and lead meetings coordinating development activities
