Clinical Mental Health Specialist

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Psychological Services department, you will be responsible for providing psychotherapy to students individually, as couples, and/or in groups in person and via telehealth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide intake assessments, walk-in appointments, and emergency services to students.
- Diagnose students using current nationally and internationally recognized diagnostic systems.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices in mental health.
- Screen clients for mental health disorders and refer for psychiatric evaluation, specialized treatment, or long-term therapy as needed.
- Three years post-licensure experience as a psychologist with strengths in crisis and case management.
- Preference for demonstrated experience and proficiency in providing culturally competent care for individuals with diverse identities.
