Job Summary

Nordic is seeking a skilled Desk Side Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT services, ensuring timely and reliable support, and maintaining accurate hardware production inventories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and repair technology hardware, including computers, printers, and scanners, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware production inventories and spare stock to ensure efficient operations.
  • Troubleshoot software issues as needed to resolve technical problems.
  • Adhere to all documented processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Provide on-site support to off-site locations, ensuring the same level of service as our main campus.
  • Assist with project assignments to implement new technologies or hardware, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Offer on-call and project support as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Assist with the movement of I&T assets, including receiving new equipment and decommissioning end-of-life assets.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technical environment and its business impact.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with clients at all levels.
  • Display excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and inform clients of potential impacts.
  • Be self-managing, prioritizing workload based on client requirements and demonstrating ability to work under pressure.
  • Exhibit good problem-solving skills, high motivation, and the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Be able to take direction from leads and respond to downtime in the environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and provide an annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that meets requirements.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, or information sciences, and 3 years of experience, or 6 years of relevant work experience.
