Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Business Strategies: Create and implement strategies to generate profitable revenue on client-centric product solutions, leveraging your expertise in the 3PL space and existing network.
  • Market Trend Analysis: Maintain a strong pulse on market trends, competition, and client feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team to meet or exceed established goals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding and maintenance of accounts.
  • Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate fees, close sales orders, and obtain signed contracts with pricing approval, utilizing your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business Insights: Develop business insights and influence key stakeholders with data-driven decision making, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Account Management: Review accounts periodically to ensure profitability, adjusting fees and pricing structures as required.
  • Travel and Relationship Building: Travel throughout assigned territory for site visits and in-person meetings, building long-lasting trusted relationships with prospective accounts.
  • Company Support: Understand and support the goals, policies, and procedures of UNIS, demonstrating a high level of integrity and ability to work with confidential information.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of logistics sales/operation experience.
  • Skills: Proficient account management, acquisition, upselling, and development skills, as well as proficient knowledge of warehouse management systems, order management systems, transportation management systems, and services/products related to the supply chain industry.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, proven written and oral presentation skills, and strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of integrity and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Availability: Available to work full-time and as needed in evenings and on weekends.
  • Track Record: Solid track record of over-achieving on sales targets.
  • Personal Qualities: High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, goal-oriented, and success-driven, with the ability to oversee multiple facilities operationally, P&L, quality, and SLA performance.
