Job Summary:

As a Juvenile Case Manager at Employment Opportunity & Training Center of NE PA, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding juveniles with criminal records through the complexities of the justice system and their reintegration into the community. You will work both within correctional facilities and in community settings, providing comprehensive case management services aimed at rehabilitation, skill-building, and successful reentry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of juveniles' backgrounds, needs, and risks to develop individualized case management plans.
  • Provide case management, mentoring, and support to juveniles to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.
  • Advocate for juveniles' rights and needs within the justice system and community resources.
  • Facilitate workshops, groups, and programs focused on life skills, vocational training, education, and employment readiness.
  • Monitor juveniles' progress and compliance with court-ordered requirements, treatment plans, and probation conditions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field required or relevant life experience and 2 years work within the field.
  • Proven experience working with juveniles in the criminal justice system or related social services field.
  • Knowledge of juvenile justice laws, probation procedures, and community resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with juveniles, families, and stakeholders.
