Job Title: Operations & Planning Compliance Engineer/Analyst

TX Reliability Entity, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Operations & Planning Compliance Engineer/Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Management team, you will be responsible for conducting compliance engagements and internal control assessments of NERC registered entities.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, and reporting on compliance engagements, as well as providing guidance and training to registered entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compliance engagements and internal control assessments of NERC registered entities
  • Develop and maintain detailed audit workpapers, findings, and reports
  • Provide guidance and training to registered entities on compliance matters
  • Collaborate with the ERO Enterprise and industry on compliance, reliability, and security matters
  • Travel up to 30% for compliance engagements and training
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active certifications in engineering, auditing, or risk management
  • Knowledge of grid planning or operations
