F-16 Maintenance Technician II

Top Aces Corp. is actively seeking skilled maintenance technicians to service our F-16 aircraft. Candidates must possess experience as an Electronics & Environmental specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and training on Electric/ECS systems of the F-16.
- Prioritize and manage ongoing work effectively.
- Evaluate and inspect completed work to determine the condition of components.
- Perform various maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and rebuilds of aircraft components.
- Handle functional components such as power generation systems, wire harnesses, and environmental systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures.
- Interpret technical orders and specifications for repairs and parts ordering.
- Utilize and maintain necessary equipment, ensuring compliance with technical data.
- Provide training and technical support to fellow technicians.
- Ensure all replacement parts are inspected and certified before installation.
- Tag and quarantine removed parts appropriately.
- Execute maintenance, modifications, and inspections as outlined in the operations manual.
- Complete and certify work reports for all tasks performed on the aircraft.
- Adhere to company procedures and safe work practices.
- Conduct both line and heavy maintenance activities in line with operational standards.
- Perform Independent Checks and Receiving Inspections as authorized.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Report any safety hazards to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Work independently and complete assignments as per given instructions.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- USAF 5 level or equivalent with documented experience.
- Experience in fighter aircraft maintenance.
- Qualifications in related maintenance fields.
- Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems on the F-16.
- E&E aircraft maintenance specialist with USAF 7 level or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in ground handling and minor maintenance.
- Ability to set up maintenance work areas effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Certifications
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license required; exceptions may apply.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) certification is a plus.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree preferred; Bachelor's degree or equivalent is a plus.
- A minimum of 4 years of direct experience with F-16 Electro & Environmental systems.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to stand, sit, talk, walk, and hear regularly. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching are necessary. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and must possess close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Regular work in both office and outdoor environments is expected, with exposure to mechanical parts, temperature variations, and potential hazards.
Special Work Conditions
- Selected candidates may undergo a Government security investigation.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
