Position Overview:
Critter Control Operations is on the lookout for a proficient and committed Wildlife Exclusion and Repair Technician to enhance our workforce.

This position plays a crucial role in the secure and efficient exclusion of wildlife from both residential and commercial spaces, as well as executing essential repairs to avert future wildlife incursions.

The perfect candidate will possess a solid foundation in construction or similar sectors, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to responsible wildlife management practices.

Critter Control Operations (CCO) stands as a premier provider of wildlife management solutions. We focus on wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair for both residential and commercial properties. Our objective is to deliver safe, effective, and responsible solutions to wildlife and pest challenges.

Compensation and Benefits:

$21 - $23/Hour

Daily Activities:


Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections of client properties, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined areas to identify wildlife entry points and potential vulnerabilities.

Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and other barriers to deter wildlife access.
Perform minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other areas susceptible to wildlife entry.
Utilize trapping and relocation methods to safely remove wildlife from properties.
Maintain precise records of services rendered, materials utilized, and client interactions.
Provide comprehensive reports and review the completed scope of work with clients.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided and address any ongoing concerns.

Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous.
Valid driver's license.
Demonstrated experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields.
Ability to work independently in the field.
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in using various software and applications; experience with Salesforce is beneficial.

Work Environment:


We operate in diverse environments where wildlife is present. Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to travel to various locations, often covering extensive territories.

Frequent walking, standing, and navigating through various types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and occasionally slippery or muddy areas.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
Must have the ability to safely climb stairs and ladders.
Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
Capability to carry and utilize equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures (traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc.).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
