Gynecologic Specialties Faculty Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Gynecologic Surgeon to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission to provide exceptional patient care, innovative research, and comprehensive education.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the evaluation and surgical treatment of benign gynecologic conditions as a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon.
- Train Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellows as part of our AAGL-approved training program.
- Deliver excellent care to patients while growing and expanding access for gynecological patients to our clinical practices.
- Participate in group call providing consultative weekend and night coverage for the Emory University Hospital associated with your MIGS practice as needed.
- Provide teaching instruction and supervision to MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students in Gynecology.
- Provide lectures to MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students as requested.
- Attend Grand Rounds, M&M Conferences, Journal Club, Division meetings, and other Departmental activities.
- Participate in mentorship of MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students.
Qualified candidates must have a terminal degree (MD or DO), successfully completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) is preferred. We are interested in candidates with Robotic certification and an interest in supplementing our MIGS robotic surgical program.
