About the PositionWe are looking for a physician with expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery to join our faculty. The selected candidate will serve as a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon for the Division of Gynecologic Specialties within the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. The position will involve an active inpatient and outpatient practice focused on the evaluation and surgical treatment of benign gynecologic conditions.
Responsibilities- Participate in all clinical activities of the Division of Gynecologic Specialties at Emory, including The Emory Clinic and Emory University Hospitals.
- Deliver excellent care to patients while growing and expanding access for gynecological patients to Emory clinical practices.
- Participate in group call providing consultative weekend and night coverage for Emory University Hospital associated with the faculty's MIGS practice as needed.
- Provide teaching instruction and supervision to MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students in Gynecology.
- Participate in mentorship of MIGS fellows, residents, and medical students.
Qualified candidates must have a terminal degree (MD or DO), successfully completed a 4-year ACGME accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) is preferred. We are interested in candidates with Robotic certification and an interest in supplementing our MIGS robotic surgical program.
Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment. Review of candidates will begin immediately; for fullest consideration, please submit a CV, reference letters, and a letter of interest.
