Experienced Gynecologic Oncology Specialist

Position Overview:
We are looking for qualified candidates for a Gynecologic Oncologist role with The Southeast Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TSPMG). This position involves the consultation and treatment of patients facing gynecologic cancers, as well as the surgical management of benign complex pelvic conditions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited fellowship in gynecologic oncology and be board certified or board eligible in this specialty. Additionally, candidates should be board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, with a significant portion of their surgical cases performed using minimally invasive techniques, particularly robotic surgery. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

TSPMG stands as one of Georgia's largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. Our team comprises over 500 physicians and 150 associate practitioners collaborating within a unique integrated care model to deliver high-quality services to more than 300,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Care is provided across 26 medical offices equipped with state-of-the-art technology, laboratories, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also offer surgical services and continuous care at leading hospitals in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a consultant for clinicians managing patients with both benign and malignant gynecologic conditions.
- Provide medical and surgical care for patients with malignant conditions within the Ob/Gyn department.
- Assist in the surgical management of benign complex conditions in the Ob/Gyn department.
- Refer patients to the internal Radiation Oncology service as needed.
- Coordinate with the Infusion Center for chemotherapy administration and manage associated complications.
- Prescribe chemotherapy for patients diagnosed with gynecologic malignancies.
- Conduct educational lectures for colleagues in the Ob/Gyn department.
- Collaborate with TSPMG radiation oncologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Support the enhancement of minimally invasive surgical skills among other surgeons in the department.
- Work alongside genetic counselors as required.
- Contribute to the development and execution of clinical research initiatives within the department.
