About the Role

We are seeking a mid-to-senior level User Experience (UX) Researcher to join the Customer Marketplace Insights (CMI) team at OLIVER Agency - North America. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to driving transformation and innovation by delivering insights and research outcomes that directly impact business and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute research activities to uncover experience and product development insights, including user interviews, testing, evaluation, field studies, and journey mapping.
  • Produce high-quality research documents, such as screeners, question guides, reports, and presentations.
  • Moderate and host workshops, including ideation sessions, to facilitate collaboration and idea generation.
  • Develop impactful and influential insights and stories that highlight user orientations and behaviors.
  • Conduct desk research to inform project planning and execution.
  • Manage research participant experiences, ensuring their comfort and protecting their personal data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions, including industrial design and technology partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a research-related field.
  • Five or more years of related non-academic work experience in a dedicated research role.
  • Experience defining and planning research approaches, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Proficiency in user research methods, including usability testing, user interviews, diary studies, and more.
  • Experience crafting discussion guides, tools, and exercises to reveal customer needs and desires.
  • Ability to moderate and plan field studies, user interviews, and usability studies in in-person and remote testing environments.
  • Experience with qualitative generative research, evaluative methodologies, and usability from concept formation through launch.
  • Basic understanding of quantitative research principles and when to seek specialist help.
  • Experience with secondary data, trends, and learnings.
  • Ability to demonstrate UX Research impact, driving business and product decisions through research.
  • Experience working in close partnership with designers and business units.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Detail-oriented approach and ability to work independently on various tasks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
