Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Business Process Optimization Specialist to join our Commercial Banking Quality Assurance Group. This role is essential for establishing and sustaining an effective operational risk framework within Market Coverage and Specialized Industries. The Process Managers will oversee similar groups of processes within the Process Owner's portfolio. Responsibilities include identifying process and control challenges, managing Corrective Action ownership, setting and reviewing key performance indicators, engaging in process enhancement initiatives, and ensuring the governance of controls. Additionally, this role involves conducting RCSA activities, including the Annual Refresh, and maintaining process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead intricate projects related to operational processes for Relationship Management and Account Origination, including corrective action ownership, control governance, process mapping, ORKRIs, and RCSA activities.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements within the assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance and document any identified issues for resolution.
  • Make informed decisions on complex process-related matters.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Guide the team and act as a subject matter expert within the department.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, internal partners, and management to resolve issues and achieve objectives.
  • Receive guidance from leadership while exercising independent judgment to grasp function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Relationship Support or equivalent experience through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of Commercial Banking operations and processes, particularly those affecting the Relationship Support organization.
  • Ability to manage and participate in large-scale strategic initiatives, collaborating across a diverse organization with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop actionable solutions for defined issues and process gaps.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work on-site at a designated location.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this position is $73,000 to $155,900. Compensation may vary based on factors such as achievements, skills, experience, and work location. This range is one component of the overall compensation package offered to candidates.
