Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to lead our team in achieving program productivity, cost, and quality targets. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to complete APQP deliverables, assisting in strategic planning, and training and development of associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with teams to complete APQP deliverables, ensuring program targets are met within program timing.
  • Assist in Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans, focusing on quality, cost reduction, and process improvements.
  • Train and Develop Associates: Provide training and development opportunities to associates, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and Improve Processes: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, output, safety, and quality of manufacturing processes.
  • Lead Technical and Operating Personnel: Guide technical and operating personnel in a team environment to improve safety, efficiency, output, and quality of manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: A degree in an engineering-related field is required.
  • Quality Experience: A minimum of 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Problem-Solving Tools: Knowledge and ability to utilize problem-solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, PDCA, 8D, etc.
  • Computer Skills: Moderate to advanced computer skills, including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Quality Systems: Knowledge of quality systems, including TS / IATF 16949 / AIAG.
  • OEM Supplier Portals: Knowledge of OEM supplier portals and related processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Previous experience in leading continuous improvement activities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong customer communication skills.
  • Analytical and Project Management Skills: Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to develop and present solid solutions to team members, management, and customers.
