COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The salary range for this position is between $91,000 and $113,000 annually, complemented by incentive opportunities, ensuring a competitive total compensation package that reflects qualifications and experience.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Treasury Management Specialist will serve as a leader in the absence of the department manager, overseeing various treasury functions. This role involves preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as assigned, training new treasury management personnel, and demonstrating a thorough understanding of all deposit products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with clients regarding banking products and services in collaboration with relationship and branch managers.
- Adhere to operational procedures for all business offerings.
- Provide professional sales support across all bank sectors involved with business services.
- Assess business customer requirements to devise competitive strategies for treasury management solutions.
- Propose enhancements to improve customer service while boosting profitability.
- Maintain a polished appearance when interacting with clients.
- Facilitate the opening of new business accounts as needed and prepare deposit service proposals.
- Travel to various business locations for client meetings.
- Deliver training for staff and clients as required.
- Prepare and present deposit service proposals/contracts for various entities.
- Showcase products and services to business clients, including treasury management and online banking solutions.
- Stay informed about bank policies and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Participate in product development and conversion initiatives as necessary.
- Assist in conducting product and pricing comparisons with competitors.
- Support sales promotions and submit monthly activity reports to management.
- Collaborate with relationship and branch managers to address any questionable transactions.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of bank policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in Treasury Management sales.
- Proficient in using bank sales software for customer account management.
- Ability to effectively fulfill job responsibilities.
- Competent in utilizing personal computers and Windows-based applications.
- Capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
