Senior Full-Stack Engineer Role

We're seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in Ruby on Rails for backend development and a good grasp of React for frontend development. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality web applications that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.
  • Leverage problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring optimal application performance and user experience.
  • Architect, design, and implement innovative solutions that align with business objectives and technical best practices.
  • Take ownership of technical initiatives and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and technological advancements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development using Ruby on Rails.
  • Deep expertise in Ruby on Rails, including its core principles, best practices, and associated technologies.
  • Proficiency with at least one popular frontend framework (e.g., React) to collaborate effectively with frontend teams and contribute to full-stack solutions.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.
  • Expert knowledge of Git and experience using Git workflows (e.g., Gitflow, GitHub Flow).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools to streamline development and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Nice to have experience with major cloud platforms and their associated services.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience working in agile environments and applying agile principles to software development projects.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical initiatives.
