Integrated Metal Products is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to manage all aspects of project engineering from planning, design, implementation to completion. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience as a SolidWorks Designer or similar role and be proficient in SolidWorks software and other related design tools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in steel fabrication, sheet metal design, and mechanical part design
  • A strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities

This role will involve:

  • Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets based on project goals and objectives
  • Managing project execution to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of design and production activities
  • Providing technical expertise and support to project teams as needed
Requirements

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and machining
