Key Responsibilities- Take Food and Beverage Orders: Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room, take food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
- Deliver Food and Beverages: Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards, and follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Communicate with Back-of-House Staff: Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Exhibit exceptional communications skills, demonstrate ability to get along well with others, and remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collect Tickets and Handle Cash: Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests, and maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
- Address Complaints and Issues: Promptly address complaints or issues, relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
- Perform Other Duties: Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period, keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards, and perform other duties as assigned.
