Levy is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at River Roast. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up assigned bars, requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Take and/or process orders for drinks, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes, practicing prudent portion control.
- Check guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
- Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits, and cash drops, securing the bank.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keeping the work area clean and organized.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Wash and sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
