Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Manager to join our team and contribute to our legacy of baking excellence. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing work activities performed by engineering staff, ensuring productivity while following company guidelines, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Direct Engineering Staff: Oversee the work activities of engineering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Productivity and Safety: Ensure that employees adhere to safety protocols and best work practices, including GMP, LOTO, and Hot Work procedures.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with representatives from other departments to resolve issues and achieve the best possible outcome for the company.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate safety, productivity, and material handling information to employees through various channels, and address concerns in a clear and concise manner.
  • Review Preventative Maintenance Schedules: Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce unscheduled downtime by reviewing preventative maintenance schedules.
Metrics and Competencies
  • Preventative Maintenance Completion Rate: Monitor and report on the completion rate of preventative maintenance tasks by engineering technicians.
  • Scheduled vs. Unscheduled Downtime: Analyze and report on scheduled vs. unscheduled downtime and associated costs.
  • Core Competencies: Possess experience with 3-phase and low-voltage power, fasteners, precision measurement tools, gearboxes, bearings, rotating equipment, and assembly/disassembly of machinery. Additionally, have experience with welding and fabrication, photo eyes, proximity switches, and a broad range of hand tools.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of working in an industrial environment, with experience in management and supervision.
