Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Therapist and Counselor to join our team as an Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC).
This role involves providing intensive, community-based interventions to youth with moderate to high needs, focusing on reducing problematic behaviors and developing individual skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that address emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Providing individual and family counseling sessions to promote healthy relationships and coping mechanisms.
- Teaching mental health skills, including stress reduction, problem-solving, and psychoeducation.
- Documenting services and submitting reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with child-family teams and participating in regular meetings.
- Crisis intervention and response to emergency situations.
- Maintaining professional development through agency trainings and monthly supervision.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Valid licensure as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or MFT.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for fieldwork.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and computer documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs.
Estimated Annual Salary: $62,000 - $82,000
