ASAPP HEALTHCARE INC is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team.
Job DescriptionThe Intensive In-Community Therapist (IIC) will provide intensive, community-based interventions to youth with moderate to high needs. This position requires clinicians to provide clinical, therapeutic support, and interventions within the youth's home, focusing on reducing problematic behaviors and developing individual skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Provide individual and family counseling sessions to promote healthy relationships and coping mechanisms.
- Teach mental health skills, including stress reduction, problem-solving, and psychoeducation, to empower youth and families.
- Document services and submit reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with child-family teams and participate in regular meetings to ensure comprehensive support.
- Crisis intervention and response to emergency situations.
- Maintain professional development through agency trainings and monthly supervision.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Valid licensure as an LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or MFT.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for fieldwork.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and computer documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs.
Estimated Annual Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
