About the Role

Norton Children's Rheumatology, affiliated with the University of Louisville School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatric rheumatologist to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical care, education, and research opportunities for children with rheumatologic diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient consultations for patients at Norton Children's Hospital, working collaboratively with pediatric hospitalists, critical care physicians, and emergency medicine physicians.
  • Offer outpatient clinical care and infusion services at the Novak Center for Children's Health, a state-of-the-art multispecialty pediatric outpatient center.
  • Participate in clinical research studies, including the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) Registry and associated studies.
  • Mentor residents and medical students in quality improvement and scholarly projects.
Requirements
  • Board certification/board eligibility in pediatric rheumatology.
  • Medical degree/diploma.
  • Residency/fellowship certification.
