Job Summary

FASTSIGNS #172901 is seeking a highly skilled Sign Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality signs and visual communications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sign Production: Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on a predetermined substrate or medium.
  • Substrate Preparation: Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and other necessary tasks.
  • Weeding and Installation: Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images and perform installations at customer locations or other off-site locations as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
  • Finishing Operations: Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces.
  • Inventory Management: Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
  • Storage and Maintenance: Clean and maintain storage areas.
  • Communication: Maintain strong lines of communication with sales staff and promptly answer messages/questions. Accurately relay project details to sales staff and customers.
  • Site Visits: Perform advance site visits, obtaining and relaying necessary information for accurate quoting and production of product.
Ideal Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in sign production, or manufacturing preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
  • Ability to use light power equipment.
