Position Description: The Department of Mathematics, part of the School of Physical Sciences at UC San Diego, is dedicated to promoting academic excellence and diversity among faculty, staff, and students.
The Department seeks candidates across various fields and specialties within mathematics. The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching foundational mathematics courses, including precalculus, tailored to departmental needs. Responsibilities encompass delivering instruction on mathematical topics, conducting a few courses weekly, and providing office hours for student support. Appointments may span one or more quarters based on departmental requirements.Department:

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Mathematics or a related discipline and a minimum of one year of teaching experience are required at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in teaching large classes, exceptional teaching evaluations, and prior experience at the post-secondary level are preferred.
