Area Credit Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit management efforts in the region. As an Area Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing credit-related activities, assessing credit risks, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage credit team and staff to direct AR/Credit processes
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop credit strategy and optimize credit decisions
- Maintain consistent standards across region for credit approval, collection, and customer credit limits
- Conduct monthly A/R reviews and forecast potential bad debt
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regional/Divisional leadership to drive A/R results
- HR responsibilities for credit analysts and clerks, including hiring, performance management, training, and development
- Develop and build credit organization structure to achieve organizational goals
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit and collections management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to accounts receivable
- MS Office experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective in strategic business planning and relationship building
