We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Ind. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mailroom, providing reception coverage, and performing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Mailroom Management: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages, prepare outgoing mail for delivery, and maintain inventory of mail room supplies.
- Reception Coverage: Greet visitors, answer phones, and handle inquiries, provide coverage at the reception desk as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks, support the Office Manager with special projects and tasks.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a mail room or administrative support role preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, proficiency in basic office software and equipment.
- Familiarity with the Tribe's Constitution, laws, and culture.
- Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
