About the Role:

The Housekeeping Associate reports to the Environmental Services Director and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, families, staff, and visitors at Sarabella Senior Living. This role is crucial in upholding the community's standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleans resident units, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Dusts all surfaces, vacuums exposed areas, and washes windows as needed.
  • Maintains housekeeping and laundry carts, and ensures the cleanliness of public restrooms.
  • Washes and dries all community laundry, using appropriate products, and follows emergency procedures when chemicals are accidentally misused.
  • Communicates effectively with the Environmental Services Director and other staff members, and advises on supply needs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Some maintenance experience preferred
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, and work in small areas
  • Ability to push and pull equipment, stand for extended periods, and work weekends and holidays as assigned
