Accounts Payable Specialist

ColourPop Cosmetics is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role will work a hybrid schedule with two days per week in our Sherman Oaks satellite office and one day per week at HQ in Oxnard.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor and invoice relationships to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Process Purchase Order (PO) invoices with proper receipt matching to ensure goods or services are received.
  • Ensure proper coding for all AP activity and maintain accurate and timely processing for all company disbursements.
  • Collect, review, and reconcile vendors' statements of account and maintain vendor accounting records.
  • Communicate professionally with vendors and customers through telephone and electronic correspondence.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations, including AP, Accrued Expenses, and Accrued Inventory Clearing.
  • Monitor AP aging and prepare ad hoc reporting for cash forecasting.
  • Process expense reports and corporate card transactions using Concur.
  • Implement AP automation system and processes to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience with full-cycle AP and PO Receipt Matching.
  • Attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team member with ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Able to learn new accounting systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
  • Experience with AP automation and system implementation.

The annual salary range for this position is $55k-$60k. This is a non-exempt position and will be eligible for OT pay. ColourPop Cosmetics offers a competitive benefits package, including vacation time, health benefits, 401k + 100% match, paid holidays, and more.
