We are seeking a skilled pilot to deliver essential medical air transport services to our clients. This position requires proficiency in operating our AS350 aircraft. The schedule consists of seven consecutive days on duty followed by seven days off, with 12-hour shifts accommodating both day and night operations. Safety is a fundamental aspect of our mission, and all pilots are part of a dedicated, professional team committed to maintaining high safety standards for both crew and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure the safe transport of patients to and from various locations and healthcare facilities.
- Guarantee aircraft readiness for flight operations as outlined in relevant manuals, adhering to all FAA regulations and company protocols, including aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain precise company and regulatory documentation, including shift records and load manifests.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, healthcare facilities, and partners.
- Provide comprehensive shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, following established protocols for recording company change board details.
- Ensure compliance with required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate
- Helicopter Instrument Rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 hours of helicopter flight experience
- 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in helicopters
- 1,000 hours of turbine flight time
- A minimum of 200 hours of night flight time in helicopters (aided and/or unaided)
Additional Requirements:
- Maximum duty weight of 230 lbs, including flight suit and boots
