  • Assist in positioning the patient and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Participate actively in the surgical team's safety protocols.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all infection control practices.
  • Support the surgeon by providing necessary instruments and materials during the operation.
  • Assist in managing hemostasis and ensuring proper surgical techniques are followed.
  • Handle post-operative duties, including the care of surgical sites and patient monitoring.
  • Stay updated on new surgical technologies and practices.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling patient information.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
  • Current certification in CPR/BLS.
  • Prior experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
