Job Summary

Ahava Therapy Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Henry County Health and Rehabilitation Center. As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients by assisting therapists and therapists assistants with daily tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Mobility Assistance: Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions using wheelchairs and geri-chairs, and assist with ambulation as needed.
  • Treatment Area Preparation: Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient therapy process.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Director with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, filing, and photocopying.
  • Telehealth Support: Assist with telehealth services, including equipment setup and technical support.
  • Non-Skilled Treatment Activities: Assist therapists and therapists assistants with non-skilled treatment activities, such as exercises and activities, under their direct supervision.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain a sanitation schedule for rehabilitation equipment and perform necessary sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Supply Management: Maintain storage areas for rehabilitation equipment and supplies, and ensure adequate levels of office supplies and treatment supplies.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, including faxing, filing, photocopying, and shredding.
  • Confidentiality and Respect: Maintain confidentiality of facility and resident information, and respect all resident rights.
  • Compliance and Communication: Comply with all facility policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with residents, families, staff members, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
  • Certifications: Must have BLS CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintain current certification during employment.
