Avionics Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Avionics Chief Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of avionics systems for our spacecraft. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the safe and successful operation of our spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and integration of avionics systems for our spacecraft.
- Develop and maintain technical requirements and specifications for avionics systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure avionics systems meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
- Conduct technical evaluations and assessments of avionics systems and components.
- Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in avionics design, development, and integration.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong technical expertise in avionics systems, including analog and digital circuit design, FPGA design, and software development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with spacecraft avionics systems and components.
- Knowledge of spacecraft environments and radiation effects on electronics.
- Experience with software development and testing.
