Position InformationThe Clinical Educator/Supervisor RN plays a crucial role in supervising and coordinating education and management of nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in patient care services. This role requires proficiency and efficiency in all aspects of PACU care, supporting the PAT Clinic Pre Op and PACU areas of Surgical Services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the unit manager in supervision, education, and management of nursing personnel
- Ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in patient care services
- Support the mission, values, and management of patient care services
- Be proficient and efficient in all aspects of PACU care
- Support the PAT Clinic Pre Op and PACU areas of Surgical Services
- 2 years of nursing experience in a related area
- 1 year of clinical experience in Surgical Services (preferred)
- Education in teaching and facilitation of learning (required)
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (required)
- Registered Nurse licensure (required)
- National Certification in Nursing (required within 1 year of hire)
Monday-Friday, 10am-8:30pm, 10-hour shifts, variable regular day off
