Electro Assembler Job Description

We are seeking an Electro Assembler to join our production team at Siemens SI - North America. This role will be based at our facility in Fort Worth, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and scan work orders in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Read and interpret documents associated with mechanical assembly assignments, including blueprints, bill of materials, and one-line diagrams.
  • Collect parts and accessories required for assembly, assemble fabricated parts to build unit assemblies or subassemblies, and use tools and equipment common to the mechanical and/or wiring trade.
  • Prepare finished units for shipping, including packing, sealing, labeling, and securing component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.
  • Disassemble units to adjust or replace parts and connect cables and basic wires, mark units with identifying information, and report non-conforming items.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects, stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
  • Reach, grasp, lift 75lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material as needed.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
