Electro Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electro Assembler to join our production team on 2nd Shift at our Fort Worth, TX facility. As an Electro Assembler, you will play a critical role in processing and scanning work orders, reading and interpreting documents, and assembling fabricated parts to build unit assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and scan in and out work orders in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Read and interpret documents associated with mechanical assembly assignments, including blueprints, bill of materials, and one-line diagrams.
  • Collect parts and accessories required for assembly, assemble fabricated parts to build unit assemblies, and prepare finished units for shipping.
  • Secure component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies, verifying that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
  • Disassemble units to adjust or replace parts and connect cables and basic wires, mark units with identifying information, and report non-conforming items.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects, stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
  • Reach, grasp, lift 75lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material as needed.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
