Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, adhering to the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and promote patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, staying current with best practices and evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Other required cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (e.g., ACLS, NALS, PALS) are unit-specific.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty.
  • Proficient use of Horizon Clinicals Applications.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
