Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and Provide Patient Care
    • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Meet Patient Needs
    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Meet Requirements
    • Meet the requirements for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
    • Hold a minimum of two years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse post-orientation or post-residency training.
    • Be certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
    • Meet additional education, competencies, and/or certification requirements as specified by the clinical unit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education
    • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Certification
    • Hold national certification in a clinical specialty.
