Job Summary

The HR Business Partner is a dynamic and business-minded HR professional who will support HR functions including Associate relations, talent management, performance management, Associate engagement, and a high-performing work culture.

This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with Associates and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and Associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with departmental leaders on various strategic initiatives such as organization engagement and culture, transformation, and business restructures.
  • Proactively partner with management and oversee the movement of talent across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Associates concerning Associate engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to the Associate experience and partner with leaders to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Partners in managing the life-cycle of the recruitment process.
  • Involved in policy and program creation to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify training needs for Associates and ensure they are trained.
  • Work with business leaders on leadership coaching and development.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and recommend training programs.
  • Resolve employee relations matters by providing guidance and coaching to leaders and associates.
  • Facilitate conflict-resolution measures and corrective action/discipline processes as needed.
  • Conduct HR orientation program that introduces organizational policies and procedures.
  • Lead and facilitate the off-boarding process.
  • Manage the annual performance review process and provide ongoing support on performance management.
  • Communicate health and wellness, retirement, and other benefits programs.
  • Lead TMH's annual merit and bonus process.
  • Lead and execute Succession Management activities.
  • Monitor workplace practices to ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
  • Interpret TMH policies and communicate changes throughout the organization.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Manage job and organizational structures in partnership with the business.
  • Creates departmental competency matrices in partnership with the business.
  • Maintain compliance systems and records.
  • Track temporary associate information.
  • Communicate and recommend recognition program usage.
  • Oversee job shadow program.
  • Advises associates and managers on leave programs.
  • Manage reasonable accommodation processes.
  • Utilize and maintain HRIS with accurate employee records.
  • Preserves confidentiality of Associate information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, verbal communication skills, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to show initiative and work within a busy environment with conflicting priorities.
  • Able to observe strict confidentiality in all aspects of services provided.
  • Flexible work ethic to meet varying workload demands of the position.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of ADP or other HRIS systems.
  • Excellence in organization and time management; attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Professional, positive, confident, and energetic attitude.
  • Must be a team-player who enjoys working in a collaborative work environment.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and process improvement.
  • Ability to convey complex information in an understandable format.
