Job Summary

The Luxury Sales Associate is responsible for handling various sales activities in a retail store, including facilitating purchases and providing exceptional guest service. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and contribute to achieving the retail stores objectives in sales, service, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Regent's Service Philosophy: The Luxury Sales Associate will promote Regent's service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
  • Adhere to Regent Santa Monica Beach's Standards: The Luxury Sales Associate will adhere to Regent Santa Monica Beach's standards in job performance and retail policies.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: The Luxury Sales Associate will consistently achieve and/or exceed the individual and boutique monthly sales target, as directed by management.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: The Luxury Sales Associate will cultivate strong client relationships whether in or outside the boutique representing the organization.
  • Understand Security and Operational Policies: The Luxury Sales Associate will understand and comply with all security and operational policies and procedures for Regent Santa Monica and the boutique.
  • Demonstrate Product Knowledge: The Luxury Sales Associate will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all products in assigned Product category and keep up-to-date on all Product categories in store.
  • Provide Outstanding Hospitality: The Luxury Sales Associate will provide outstanding hospitality to all guests, consistently delivering attentive, refined, and courteous service.
  • Support Brand Image: The Luxury Sales Associate will support the brand image by always adhering to dress code.
  • Utilize POS System: The Luxury Sales Associate will utilize a POS system to manage smooth transactions.
  • Provide Qualitative Feedback: The Luxury Sales Associate will provide store management with qualitative feedback.
  • Assist in Merchandising and Daily Maintenance: The Luxury Sales Associate will assist in the merchandising and daily maintenance of displays and back-stock.
  • Assist in Receiving Merchandise: The Luxury Sales Associate will assist in receiving merchandise, while ensuring an organized inventory process.
  • Enhance Revenue and Guest Experience: The Luxury Sales Associate will continuously seek ways to enhance revenue and elevate the guest experience.
  • Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills: The Luxury Sales Associate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and business partners.
  • Complete Assigned Tasks: The Luxury Sales Associate will complete all assigned tasks directed by management.
  • Keep Retail Spaces Clean and Organized: The Luxury Sales Associate will keep retail spaces clean and organized, aligning with the culture and standards of excellence.
  • Conduct Daily Store Operations: The Luxury Sales Associate will conduct daily store operations efficiently, demonstrating respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative.
  • Master Programs and Procedures: The Luxury Sales Associate will master all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
  • Foster Rapport with Customers: The Luxury Sales Associate will foster rapport with customers through conversation and honest recommendations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 Years' Experience: The Luxury Sales Associate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in luxury sales.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Luxury Sales Associate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
  • Strong Reading and Writing Skills: The Luxury Sales Associate will have solid reading and writing skills to aid in communication.
  • Solid Understanding of Fashion and Styling: The Luxury Sales Associate will have a solid understanding of fashion and styling.
  • Basic Computer Skills: The Luxury Sales Associate will possess basic computer skills required.
What We Offer

The hourly pay rate for this role is $33.00, plus commission. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, or any other form of compensation that are allocable to a particular employee remain in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
