The MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Active Optical Systems Group. As an EO/IR Systems Developer, you will play a critical role in the development of next-generation advanced EO/IR systems.


In this position, you will participate in all aspects of technology development, spanning design, modeling, laboratory testing, integration, field collection, and data analysis. Your strong background in experimental optics and data analysis will enable you to make significant contributions to our team.


We are looking for an individual with a strong ability to collaborate with engineers and scientists to design, develop, and integrate optical systems. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your experience in experimental optics, will be essential in helping us achieve our mission.


The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate in physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience. Experience in laser radar, optical remote sensing, non-linear optics, optical spectroscopy, or infrared system analysis, computational imaging/algorithm development is desired.


Beyond your technical expertise, you will also be expected to communicate complex ideas effectively and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
